Early Life and Education

Born on September 1, 1961, in Delhi, Justice Bamba completed her schooling in Delhi and graduated with Honours in Botany from Hansraj College, Delhi University in 1980. She pursued her legal education, completing LL.B. in 1983 and LL.M. in 1988 from the Faculty of Law, Delhi University. She also holds a Diploma in Administrative Law from the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi.

Professional Career

• Advocate: Practiced in Delhi District Courts and High Court of Delhi (1983-1987).
• Law Officer & Deputy Chief Officer (Law): Punjab National Bank and Central Bank of India (1987-1996).
• Division Chief (Legal) & Joint Legal Advisor: Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Mumbai (1996-2002). Represented these institutions before various courts and the Securities Appellate Tribunal, Mumbai.
• Trained Mediator: Demonstrating expertise in alternative dispute resolution.
