As per case facts, WP Nos. 30796 and 32252 of 2014 sought to quash a memo and set aside a quarry lease granted to M/s Golden Granites (4th respondent) for ... land in Sy.No.55/6, which the petitioner also claims. The petitioner's Revision Petition against this grant was dismissed, leading to this challenge. WP No.31072 of 2022 questioned the subsequent renewal of the mining lease to M/s Golden Granites, alleging irregularities in the No Objection Certificate (NOC) and non-compliance with prior court directions amidst ongoing title disputes. The question arose whether the prospecting license and quarry lease, and their renewal, granted to the 4th respondent were valid given the disputed land ownership, alleged irregularities in NOC issuance, and the prior dismissal of the petitioner's Revision Petition, especially when a partition suit regarding the land was still pending. Finally, the High Court found the impugned order dismissing the Revision Petition to be vitiated on factual and legal grounds.
