This appeal by special leave, questions a judgment of the Kerala High Court reversing the judgment of the learned Sessions Judge and consequently, restoring the conviction and sentence (of 3 ... years’ imprisonment) for the offence punishable under Section 27 of the Kerala Forest Act (hereafter “the Act”).
