Early Life and Education

Justice Chowdhary hails from a renowned family in Allahabad. His grandfather, Mr. Shyam Lal, was honored with the title ‘Rai Sahab Chowdhary’ during British rule and later served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) twice after India's independence. His father, Chaudhary Chunni Lal, was a practicing Advocate at the Allahabad High Court before becoming a member of the U.P. Public Service Commission and subsequently a nominated member of the Rajya Sabha.

He completed his schooling at Boys’ High School and Intermediate College, and Government Inter College (G.I.C) Allahabad, before graduating from the University of Allahabad and completing his LL.B.

Legal Career

Enrolled as an Advocate on March 6, 1993, Justice Chowdhary gained extensive experience practicing in Civil, Labour Law, Constitutional, and Revenue Services. He served as a Standing Counsel for Zila Panchayat, Mirzapur (1995-2000), and Nagar Panchayat Ahiraura Mirzapur (1998-2004). Additionally, he was a brief holder for the State of U.P. from 1998 to 2000 and Standing Counsel for Indian Railway from 2000 to 2011.

Other Endeavors and Elevation to the Bench
