Born on July 7, 1973, in Village Kailbakri, District Amroha, Justice Arun Kumar Singh Deshwal's academic journey began in GIC, Bijnor, followed by a Science degree from Vardhman College, Bijnor, and an LL.B degree from Campus Law Centre, Delhi University.

Justice Deshwal enrolled as a Trainee Advocate with the Bar Council of U.P. in 1998, becoming an Advocate in 1999, practicing at the Allahabad High Court under the guidance of Mr. Naveen Sinha, Senior Advocate. His practice encompassed Civil, Criminal, Revenue, Constitutional, Service, Company, Arbitration, and Society Matters. He served as a panel lawyer for Meerut Development Authority, Moradabad Development Authority, U.P. Co-operative Federation Ltd., Rohilkhand University, and Sarva U.P. Gramin Bank. Justice Deshwal was the General Secretary of the Advocates' Association, High Court, Allahabad, during 2016-17 and President of Lions Club (Bharadwaj) Allahabad in 2008-09 and Lions Club (Ashok), Prayagraj in 2018-19. He organized events at the Allahabad High Court, including cricket tournaments and a play titled 'Mukadma hone wala hai'. As Chief Editor of 'Expression (2007 and 2017)', he provided pro bono service as a panel lawyer for the Allahabad High Court Legal Aid Committee.
