Judicial Biography

An experienced judge in the Rajasthan High Court, Justice Arun Monga, educated in Punjab where his father served as a Judicial Officer, brings a wealth of knowledge and a diverse background to the bench. He earned a B.Sc. from DAV College, Chandigarh, with first division honors, also receiving the College Color. He further excelled in his law studies, graduating with first division from Punjab University, Chandigarh. Interestingly, while studying law, he also taught Chemistry in a school at Chandigarh, showcasing his multifaceted talents.

Justice Monga began his law practice in 1991 as a first-generation lawyer in the High Court at Chandigarh. In 1997-98, he shifted his primary practice to Delhi, where he spent 20 years before being sworn in as a Judge in October 2018. His clientele primarily consisted of private sector institutional clients, alongside individual clients. He handled both litigation and provided advisory services on corporate transactions.

Known as an avid sportsman and nature enthusiast, Justice Monga's career highlights include taking oath as a Judge of the High Court of Delhi on July 21, 2025, followed by a transfer back to the Rajasthan High Court, where he took oath on October 29, 2025, continuing his service in the judicial arena.
