He graduated in law from the University of Mumbai and was admitted to the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa on February 26, 1992. Early in his career, he worked with Shri. C.J. Sawant, a Senior Advocate and former Advocate General of Maharashtra, gaining valuable experience in various legal domains.
He served as an Assistant Government Pleader and Additional Public Prosecutor for the High Court at Mumbai from July 25, 2000, and was later appointed as Additional Government Pleader and Additional Public Prosecutor on July 16, 2007. Additionally, he held the position of Additional Public Prosecutor for the Union of India from April 26, 2009, until his resignation on June 5, 2013.
