A respected member of the Rajasthan High Court, Justice Ashutosh Kumar, born on December 25, 1967, brings a wealth of experience to the bench. He holds degrees in B.A. and LL.B. After being inducted into the Rajasthan Judicial Service, Justice Kumar served as a Civil Judge and Senior Civil Judge in various locations. He also served as Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate at Bharatpur and as Secretary/Registrar, DRT, Jaipur.
Promoted to the regular District Judge Cadre in 2005, he worked as Additional District and Sessions Judge at Bharatpur, Jhunjhunu, and Jaipur. He was designated as District & Sessions Judge and served as Officer on Special Duty at the Jaipur Bench in 2011, followed by roles as Registrar (Classification) and Registrar (Writs) at the Jaipur Bench until 2014.
Justice Kumar also served as Judge, MACT No.2, Kota, until March 28, 2017, and as Secretary, Law & Joint L.R., Law & Legal Affairs Department, Jaipur, from 2017 to 2018. Prior to his elevation, he was District Judge in Jaisalmer, Jaipur Metropolitan-II, and Jaipur Metropolitan-I.
