Justice Chandra Dhari Singh's career in law showcases a wide spectrum of experience, from advocacy to judicial service. Graduating in Law from Delhi University in 1993, he enrolled as an advocate in July 1994 and practiced extensively in the Supreme Court of India as an Advocate-on-Record. His expertise spanned original side, civil, and criminal matters in various High Courts, Trial Courts, and before Tribunals and Commissions. Justice Singh served as Additional Advocate General for Chhattisgarh and Standing Counsel for Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. He represented numerous organizations, including the Union of India and various universities and corporations, before the Supreme Court. He was involved in several Constitution Bench cases and held positions such as Joint Secretary of the SCBA and Honorary Secretary of SCAORA. Appointed as an Additional Judge on September 22, 2017, he became a Permanent Judge on September 6, 2019. He was transferred to the Delhi High Court on October 11, 2021, and subsequently transferred back to Allahabad High Court, taking oath on April 7, 2025.
