Justice Farjand Ali of the Rajasthan High Court, born on December 15, 1968, has established a distinguished legal career marked by diverse experience and a commitment to public service.
Justice Ali completed his B.A. and L.L.B. degrees before enrolling as an advocate with the Bar Council of Rajasthan on September 6, 1992. He began his practice at the Chittorgarh judgeship, serving the area until 2005.
In 2005, Justice Ali transitioned his practice to the High Court of Judicature for Rajasthan at Jodhpur, where he predominantly practiced.
Throughout his career, Justice Ali served as standing counsel for various entities, including the Central Government, National Highway Authority of India, Municipal Board, and Waqf Board. He also contributed to the Mediation Centre at the High Court Jodhpur as a trained mediator.
In January 2019, he was appointed as Government Advocate-cum-Additional Advocate General at the Principal Bench of the Rajasthan High Court, representing the State of Rajasthan in a range of criminal, civil, constitutional, and Public Interest Litigation matters. He served in this role until his elevation as a Judge of the High Court of Rajasthan on October 18, 2021.
