Born on April 14, 1955, in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, Justice Rohini graduated in Science from Osmania University in 1976 and obtained a law degree with First Class from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.

Legal Career

Enrolling as an Advocate on December 18, 1980, she actively practiced in the Andhra Pradesh High Court, handling various types of Writ Petitions, Civil, Criminal, Labour, and Service matters. She was appointed as a Government Pleader in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh on January 12, 1995, serving until her elevation to the Bench in 2001.

Judicial Appointments

Justice Rohini was appointed as an Additional Judge of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh on June 25, 2001, and became a Permanent Judge on July 31, 2002. She was appointed as Chief Justice of the High Court of Delhi on April 21, 2014, and retired on April 13, 2017.
