A distinguished member of the Delhi High Court, Justice Indermeet Kaur Kochhar (born March 22, 1956) had a career marked by dedication to law and justice. She attended Mater Dei Convent School, New Delhi, and excelled in Psychology (Hons.) at Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi, earning a Scholarship. She then secured her LLB from Campus Law Centre, followed by an LLM with a Gold Medal from the same university.
Enrolling as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Delhi in 1984, she practiced Company Law and various branches of Civil Law. In 1995, she was selected as a member of the Delhi Higher Judicial Service, where she served as Special Judge NDPS, Special Judge Matrimonial Cases, and Special Judge CBI. Justice Kaur was elevated to the bench of the High Court of Delhi as an Additional Judge on May 14, 2009, and honorably retired on March 21, 2018.
