A prominent Justice in the Delhi High Court, Jyoti Singh, born on October 1, 1966, has had an illustrious career marked by academic excellence and legal expertise. She graduated in Botany (Hons.) from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University, and later acquired an L.L.B. degree from Campus Law Centre, Delhi University.
Enrolling with the Bar Council of Delhi, Justice Singh practiced before the Supreme Court, High Court of Delhi, and various Tribunals, building a robust foundation in law. She held several significant appointments, including Senior Counsel for the Government of India in the High Court of Delhi, Standing Counsel for UPSC, DTC, and the Delhi Government in the Central Administrative Tribunal, as well as Additional Standing Counsel for NDMC and Panel Counsel for Provident Fund, DDA, and Canara Bank.
She was also a dedicated member of the Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee, actively participating in Lok Adalats and workshops, demonstrating her commitment to legal aid and awareness. Specializing in service matters, particularly those involving the Armed Forces and Para-Military Forces, she also served as Amicus Curiae in numerous cases for the High Court of Delhi and the Armed Forces Tribunal.
