A respected member of the Bombay High Court, Justice Kishore C. Sant has a career spanning several years marked by diverse legal experience and contributions.
Born on 7th October 1967, Justice Sant was enrolled as an Advocate on 11th July 1991 with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa. Since 1991, he practiced at the High Court of Bombay, Bench at Aurangabad, and also at the principal seat at Bombay for two and a half years. He has appeared in matters involving constitutional law, civil law, criminal law, service law, and PILs.
For many years, Justice Sant represented Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and served as a Standing Counsel for the University. He also represented the National Bank for Agricultural and Rural Development. He was on the Editorial Board of the Maharashtra Law Journal and served as a Visiting Lecturer in Manickchand Pahade Law College from 1998 till 2010. Actively involved in the Bar Association, he was the Vice President of the Advocates Association of Bombay High Court at Aurangabad for the year 2010-11. He actively participated in programs conducted by the Maharashtra State Legal Services Authority and served as a Member on the panel of National Lok Adalat held in High Court of Bombay, Bench at Aurangabad from 2015 till 2021. He was elevated as an Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court on 19th July 2022 and confirmed as Permanent Judge on 27th March, 2024.
