A distinguished member of the Orissa High Court, Justice Krushna Ram Mohapatra has had a notable career in law.
Born on April 18, 1965, Justice Mohapatra is the son of the Late Justice Sarat Chandra Mohapatra. He holds degrees in B.A and LL.B.
Justice K.R. Mohapatra enrolled as an Advocate in the Orissa State Bar Council on February 7, 1988. He has 26 years of experience in various branches of law, including Civil, Service, Criminal, and Constitutional law. His expertise extends to Guardians and Wards Act, Hindu Minority and Guardianship Act, Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act, and Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection) Act.
He has served as Additional Standing Counsel for the State and for the Orissa Public Service Commission. Additionally, he has been an advocate for Central Cooperative Banks Limited, Keonjhar, National Institute of Open Schooling under the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, New Delhi, and Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited, Bank of Baroda, among others.
Justice Mohapatra was elevated as a Judge of the Orissa High Court on April 17, 2015.
