A prominent figure in the Bombay High Court, Justice Milind Narendra Jadhav's career showcases a blend of academic excellence and practical legal expertise.
Born in Mumbai on August 14, 1969, Justice Jadhav's academic journey includes a B.Sc in Life Science and Bio-Chemistry from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai, and an LL.B. from Government Law College, Mumbai, followed by an LL.M. from Mumbai University. He also holds a post-graduate Diploma in Personal Management and Industrial Relations.
Prior to his legal career, he served as a Senior Clerk in Western Railway. He began his legal practice in 1998, joining the chambers of Mr. Atul Motilal Setalvad, Senior Advocate. He was conferred several awards for his academic achievements in law. Justice Jadhav practiced on both the Original and Appellate Sides of the Bombay High Court, specializing in Constitutional Law, Land Acquisition, and Commercial Laws. He also lectured in Land Laws, Environmental Laws, and Civil Procedure Code at Siddharth Law College, Mumbai. He served as a Standing Counsel for the Custodian in the Special Court (Trial of Offences Relating to Transactions in Securities) Act, 1992. Justice Jadhav was elevated as an Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court on August 23, 2019, and confirmed as a Judge on June 1, 2021.
