Justice Sindhu obtained his LL.B degree in 1992 from Panjab University, Chandigarh, and enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana. Practicing mainly in the High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh, he handled Civil, Criminal, Constitutional, and Service Laws. A first-generation lawyer in his family, he represented several institutions, Municipal Councils, and Government Boards/Corporations.

His career includes appointments as Additional Central Government Standing Counsel in 1999 and as Additional Advocate General, Punjab in September 2008. He was also a member of various committees, including the State Executive Committee for Persons with Disabilities, Union Territory, Chandigarh. Justice Sindhu was elevated as an Additional Judge of the High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh on 10th July 2017 and subsequently as Judge on 03.12.2018.
