Justice Waziri completed his Indian School Certificate Examination from Boys’ High School, Allahabad. He graduated with a B.A. in Philosophy (Hons.) from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, in 1983. He furthered his legal education with an LL.B. from Campus Law Center, Delhi University (1983-86), and an LL.M. from Vrije Universiteit Brussels, Belgium (1994-95).
Legal Career
Enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi in 1987, Justice Waziri practiced extensively before the Supreme Court of India, the High Court of Delhi, other High Courts, and various tribunals. He held several key positions, including Standing Counsel (Civil) for the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, Central Government Pleader in the Delhi High Court, and Standing Counsel for the Delhi Wakf Board and Municipal Corporation of Delhi.
