Hon’ble Shri Justice Naresh Kumar Chandravanshi, born on November 6, 1965, in Village Udtala, District Durg (C.G.), has dedicated his career to the judiciary. He earned his B.A. and L.L.B. degrees from Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar (M.P.).
He joined as a Civil Judge Class-II at the Civil Court in Bilaspur on July 11, 1990. Subsequently, he served in various subordinate judiciary roles in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. He also served as Additional Registrar (D.E.) at the High Court of Chhattisgarh and later as District and Sessions Judge in Surguja at Ambikapur.
Before his elevation, he served as a legal advisor to the Governor of Chhattisgarh and as Principal Secretary of the Law and Legislative Affairs Department for the Government of Chhattisgarh.
He was elevated and took oath as an Additional Judge of the High Court of Chhattisgarh on March 22, 2021. Took oath as Permanent Judge on 15 December 2022.
