Born on June 7, 1965, in Amritsar, Justice Sehgal is the son of the late Shri Justice D.V. Sehgal (Former Lokpal, Punjab) and Smt. Rani Sehgal. He completed his B.Com (Hons.) in 1985 and obtained his Law Degree from Panjab University in 1988.
