Justice Yogesh Khanna, a former Permanent Judge of the Delhi High Court, was born on December 31, 1961. He completed his B.Com (Hons.) from Delhi University in 1983, followed by an LL.B. from Campus Law Centre, Delhi, in 1986. Justice Khanna began his legal career in the District Courts of Delhi in 1986.
In 2000, he joined the Delhi Higher Judicial Service, where he handled a variety of significant cases, including the notable Nirbhaya case. He also served as the District Judge of the North-West District, Rohini Courts, Delhi.
Justice Khanna was elevated as a Permanent Judge of the Delhi High Court on November 8, 2016, and retired on December 30, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of dedicated service and judicial excellence.
