Early Life and Education

Born on August 4, 1969, Justice Bhanot graduated in Law from Lucknow University in 1994.

Legal Career

He was enrolled as an advocate on January 15, 1995, and practiced in Civil, Constitutional, Tax, Service, Company Law, and Criminal law at the Allahabad High Court. He also handled matters relating to environmental, industrial disputes, and other allied branches of law. He served as counsel for the Government of India, Standing Counsel for the State of U.P., Additional Government Advocate for the State of U.P., and represented organizations such as the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission. He was designated as Senior Advocate by the Allahabad High Court on May 23, 2015.

Judicial Career

Appointed as an Additional Judge on September 22, 2017, Justice Bhanot took oath as a Permanent Judge on September 6, 2019. He is currently the Administrative Judge for the District of Bareilly, with his tenure expected to continue until his retirement on August 3, 2031.
