A respected member of the Patna High Court, Justice Alok Kumar Pandey's career is marked by diverse roles and international training.
His Lordship began his judicial career as an Additional District & Sessions Judge on 30th April, 2010. He was appointed as Principal Judge, Family Court, on 22nd September, 2011, and subsequently assumed charge as District & Sessions Judge on 13th April, 2015. He has also served with distinction as Registrar (Administration) of the Patna High Court and as Director of the Bihar Judicial Academy.
His Lordship participated in a two-week International Training Programme on Court Administration and Procedures at the University of California, Berkeley. Over the years, he has received numerous awards, including one from the then Chief Minister of Assam, for excellence in debates on constitutional matters. He has also earned several commendations, among them recognition for his valued contribution to the publication of Criminal Miscellany and a Certificate of Appreciation for exemplary work and leadership as Director of the Bihar Judicial Academy, awarded by the then Chairman of the Academy.
His Lordship was elevated to the Bench as a Judge of the Patna High Court on 4th June, 2022.
