A distinguished member of the Delhi High Court, Justice Anil Kumar's legal career reflects a deep understanding of both scientific and legal principles.

Born on July 12th, 1950, Justice Anil Kumar obtained an M.Sc. in Physical Sciences (Quantum Mechanics) and an LL.B. from the University of Delhi. He also holds an Advanced Diploma in French from the same university.

Enrolled as a member of the Bar Council of Delhi in 1974, he began his law practice that year. He served as a Legal Advisor to the Central Board of Secondary Education, National Institute of Open Schooling, and National Institute of Education, Planning and Administration in the Delhi High Court. He was also on the panel of senior lawyers for the State of U.P. in the Supreme Court of India.
