Justice N. Santosh Hegde

Early Life and Education

Justice Hegde graduated in law in 1965. After completing his apprenticeship, he enrolled as an Advocate in January 1966. He was designated as a Senior Advocate in May 1984.

Professional Career

Justice Hegde was appointed as the Advocate General for the State of Karnataka in February 1984, a position he held until August 1988. He served as Additional Solicitor General of the Union of India from December 1989 to November 1990. He was re-appointed as the Solicitor General of India on April 25, 1998.
