An accomplished jurist, Justice Neena Bansal Krishna has a distinguished career marked by extensive service in the Delhi judicial system. Born on June 18, 1965, she completed her LLB from Campus Law Centre and LL.M from the Faculty of Law, Delhi University.
Justice Krishna joined the Delhi Judicial Service in 1992 and was promoted to the Delhi Higher Judicial Service in 2003. She presided over various Civil and Criminal Courts, handling cases related to matrimonial disputes, motor accident claims, POCSO, money laundering, and more. She also served as a Presenting Officer in the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) from 2005 to 2006.
Notably, she was the First Director in the Department of Law and Justice, NCT of Delhi, responsible for setting up the Delhi Dispute Resolution Society. A trained mediator and master trainer with the Mediation & Conciliation Project Committee, Supreme Court of India, she has trained lawyers and judges across India. Before being elevated as a Permanent Judge of the Delhi High Court on February 28, 2022, she served as Director (Academics) in the Delhi Judicial Academy and as District & Sessions Judge, South-East District, Saket Courts, New Delhi.
