Born on November 30, 1961, in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, Justice Sharma's academic journey began at Christ Church Boys Higher Secondary School, followed by studies at Central School, Jabalpur. He excelled in his Bachelor of Science program at Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar, graduating in 1981 with distinction in three subjects and earning a National Merit Scholarship for Post Graduate Studies.

Legal Career
Enrolling as an advocate on September 1, 1984, Justice Sharma practiced in Constitutional, Service, Civil, and Criminal matters before the High Court of Madhya Pradesh at Jabalpur. His expertise led to his appointment as Additional Central Government Counsel on May 28, 1993, and later as senior panel counsel by the Government of India on June 28, 2004.
In 2003, he was designated as a Senior Advocate by the High Court of Madhya Pradesh at the young age of 42, marking him as one of the youngest senior advocates in the court's history.
