Justice C. Hari Shankar is a distinguished judge of the Delhi High Court, known for his expertise in indirect taxes and a broad range of legal areas. His career is marked by significant contributions as both an advocate and a judge.

Early Life and Education

Born in New Delhi on May 4, 1968, Justice Shankar completed his schooling at St. Columba’s School. He then earned a B.Sc. (Hons) in Chemistry from Kirori Mal College and an LL.B. from the Campus Law Centre, Delhi University in 1993.

Legal Career

Before his appointment as a judge, Justice Shankar had an extensive and diverse legal practice. He appeared as arguing/senior counsel before numerous judicial bodies, including:
