Hon'ble Dr. Justice Sanjeeb Kumar Panigrahi

Dr. Justice Sanjeeb Kumar Panigrahi was appointed as Judge of Orissa High Court on 10th February, 2020. He enrolled with Odisha State Bar Council, Cuttack in 2006 after completing his LL.M (Business Law) from National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore. Following a brief stint as Research Assistant of Hon'ble Judges, Supreme Court of India, he started practicing in the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, Orissa High Court and many other provincial High Courts. He advised and appeared for numerous Corporate Clients at Courts, NCLT, TDSAT, NGT, PMLA, Electricity Tribunal, Competition Commission and other Tribunals and Forums dealing with Civil Laws, Banking Laws, Contract, Arbitration, Taxation Laws, Telecommunication laws, Intellectual Property laws, Consumer Protection, Insurance Laws, Land Laws, Revenue Matters, Service Matters etc.
He was an Advocate-on-Record in Supreme Court of India and represented the State of Odisha before the said Court as a Panel Advocate from 2013 until his elevation. Prior to this, he was Panel Counsel for Union of India before Supreme Court of India from 2009 to 2014. He is also an alumnus of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), a professional exchange program funded by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, Washington D.C.
