A distinguished member of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Justice Harsimran Singh Sethi has a career marked by a deep commitment to law and justice.
Tracing his roots to a humble background, Justice Sethi enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana in 1990 as a first-generation Lawyer. With a practice spanning over three decades, Justice Sethi represented a wide range of institutions including The Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh Administration, various autonomous bodies including Punjab Urban Development Authority, Punjab School Education Board, Punjab Technical University, Guru Nanak Dev University amongst others. His area of expertise remained in dealing with Service, Civil, Election and Constitutional matters.
An ardent sports enthusiast, he represented his College and University in the games of Basketball and Handball in various events at the time of his undergraduate degree. His assiduous approach towards practice of law brought him bipartisan approval while serving as Additional Advocate General for State of Punjab from 2012 till his elevation as Additional Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court on 29th October 2018, thereafter he was appointed as Permanent Judge of the Court on 11th September, 2020.
