Justice K.M. Joseph is a prominent figure in the Indian judiciary, known for his contributions to the Supreme Court of India.

Early Life and Education

Born on June 17, 1958, Justice Joseph was educated at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kochi and New Delhi, Loyola College, Chennai, and Govt. Law College, Ernakulam.

Legal Career

He enrolled as an Advocate on January 12, 1982, in Delhi, later moving to the High Court of Kerala in 1983, where he specialized in Civil and Writ matters.

Judicial Appointments

  • Permanent Judge of the High Court of Kerala on October 14, 2004
  • Chief Justice of Uttarakhand High Court, assuming charge on July 31, 2014
