A prominent figure in the judiciary, Justice M. Sundar's career is marked by dedication and expertise. Born on July 19, 1966, he graduated from Madras Law College, being part of the first batch of the five-year integrated law course in India.
Enrolling as an Advocate in 1989, Justice Sundar established a wide-ranging practice primarily at the Madras High Court. His experience extended to appearances in the Supreme Court and other High Courts, as well as work in Trial Courts.
He was elevated as a permanent Judge of the Madras High Court on October 5, 2016. His journey culminated in being sworn in as the 10th Chief Justice of the High Court of Manipur on September 15, 2025, showcasing his commitment and leadership within the legal system.
