A distinguished member of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Justice Harkesh Manuja was born on April 20, 1972, in Panipat. After completing his LL.B. from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, in 1994, he was enrolled as a member of the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh, on September 2, 1994.
During his time at the Bar, he practiced in various fields of law, including Civil, Constitutional, and Criminal law. He served as the Honorary Secretary of the Punjab & Haryana High Court Bar Association from 2008 to 2009 and was appointed as Additional Standing Counsel for Chandigarh Administration from January 7, 2010, until January 2021. He also joined as Additional Advocate General, Punjab, from September 10, 2014, until June 30, 2017.
Justice Manuja was empanelled as an Arbitrator by the Punjab and Haryana High Court for three years, starting from June 1, 2018. He served as Standing counsel for AICTE from December 2017 till December 2019 and as panel counsel for the National Highway Authority of India from December 2020 until his elevation. He was elevated as an Additional Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court on August 16, 2022.
