A member of a family distinguished in law, justice, and service, Justice Jasjit Singh Bedi was born on July 6, 1974. He received his education from the Lawrence School, Sanawar, Panjab University, and Campus Law Centre, Delhi. On January 29, 2014, he was designated as a Senior Advocate, marking a significant milestone in his legal career.
Elevated as Additional Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court on October 29, 2021, Justice Bedi carries a rich legacy. He is the son of Justice Harjit Singh Bedi, a former Judge of the Supreme Court of India, and the grandson of Justice Tikka Jagjit Singh Bedi, a former Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court. Married to a professor of Law, they have a son and a daughter, blending legal expertise with academic pursuit.
