Hon’ble Mr. Justice Kshitij Shailendra

A distinguished member of the Allahabad High Court, Justice Kshitij Shailendra brings a unique blend of management expertise and legal acumen to the bench. His diverse background, from business management to extensive legal practice, enriches his judicial perspective.

Born and raised in Moradabad, Justice Shailendra consistently achieved first-class honors throughout his academic career. After completing his Bachelor of Science degree, he pursued a two-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (equivalent to an MBA) from Dehradun. During his LL.B. studies at K.G.K. College, Moradabad, affiliated with M.J.P. Rohilkhand University Bareilly, he lectured at the Institute of Foreign Trade & Management, Moradabad (now IFTM University), teaching various management subjects to undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Justice Shailendra began his legal practice in the District Court of Moradabad for two years before joining the High Court Bar Association, Allahabad, in 2002. He practiced under the guidance of Sri Prakash Krishna, Advocate, who was later elevated to the Bench. For over 20 years, Justice Shailendra practiced in the High Court, handling a wide array of cases, including Civil Writs, matters under Article 227, First & Second Appeals, Rent Control matters, Civil Revisions, matters relating to Development Authorities, Local Bodies, Land Acquisition, Education, Elections, Service, Societies/Committee of Management, Revenue, P.I.L.s., Criminal Writs, Revisions, Application u/s 482 Cr.P.C., and Bails.

He also served on the panel of the University of Allahabad, further contributing to the academic community.Justice Shailendra took oath as an Additional Judge on February 7, 2023, and as a Permanent Judge on August 23, 2024.
