A distinguished member of the Chhattisgarh High Court, Hon'ble Shri Justice Parth Prateem Sahu, born on April 19, 1971, in G.Jamgaon, District Dhamtari, has a rich background in diverse areas of law. His parents are Shri SR Sahu and Smt Savitri Devi Sahu.
He completed his schooling in Jabalpur and earned his B.Com and LLB degrees from Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur. On March 12, 1996, he enrolled as an Advocate and began his career under the mentorship of Dr. Nirmal Kumar Shukla, a Senior Advocate.
Justice Sahu practiced in the District and Sessions Court at Jabalpur, the High Court of Madhya Pradesh at Jabalpur, and the High Court of Chhattisgarh at Bilaspur. His legal expertise covers Civil, Criminal, Service, Labour, Motor Accident Claims, Writ, Constitution, Arbitration, and matrimonial cases.
He was elevated as an Additional Judge of the Chhattisgarh High Court on June 18, 2018, and took oath as a Permanent Judge on May 11, 2020.
