An esteemed Justice of the Allahabad High Court, Justice Piyush Agrawal’s legal career has been characterized by his comprehensive practice and dedicated service since joining in 2018.

Justice Agrawal graduated in Law from APS University, Rewa, in 1993 and was enrolled as an Advocate on August 28, 1993. His practice focused mainly on the Civil side, encompassing Constitutional, Taxation, Company, and allied branches of Law, with experience at both the Allahabad High Court and Lucknow Bench.

He has served as Standing Counsel for numerous Companies and Corporations, as well as Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State of Uttar Pradesh in 2014. He was Senior Standing Counsel for the Income Tax Department, Government of India, from 2016 until his elevation. He also held the position of Senior Standing Counsel for CGST, Excise & Custom Departments, Government of India, from 2017 until elevation. Justice Agrawal was elevated as Additional Judge on November 22, 2018, and took oath as Permanent Judge on November 20, 2020.
