Hon’ble Mr. Justice Ravindra Maithani

Justice Ravindra Maithani has had a distinguished career in the Indian judicial system, marked by diverse roles and significant contributions to legal administration. Joining the Uttar Pradesh Judicial Service in 1986, he served as a Judge in various districts of Uttar Pradesh and later in Uttarakhand. He also held positions such as Deputy Director at the Institute of Judicial Training Research, U.P. Lucknow, Member of the Trade Tax Tribunal, Uttarakhand, Additional Director of the Uttarakhand Judicial And Legal Academy, and Administrator General, Uttarakhand.

Appointed as Registrar General of the High Court of Uttarakhand, Nainital on March 28, 2009, Justice Maithani later transferred to the Supreme Court of India as Registrar on September 21, 2010.

He was appointed as Secretary General of the Supreme Court of India on May 13, 2013, a position he held until November 15, 2014.
