Justice Renu Bhatnagar

A dedicated member of the Delhi High Court, Justice Renu Bhatnagar was born in Gurugram, Haryana, on August 27, 1967. She graduated from M.D.U. Rohtak, Haryana, in 1986 and pursued Law, completing her L.L.B. from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi, and L.L.M. from Kurukshetra University.

Justice Bhatnagar joined the Delhi Judicial Service in 1992 and was promoted to the Delhi Higher Judicial Service in August 2003. She served as Principal District Judge at South-East District, Saket Courts, Delhi, from May 2023 to June 2023, and thereafter at Shahdara District, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi, from June 8, 2023, to February 20, 2025.

Throughout her extensive service, she presided over courts dealing with Civil and Criminal Jurisdictions. She held designated courts for Labour and Industrial Laws & Matrimonial disputes, Protection of Children against Sexual Offences Act (POCSO), TADA, POTA, and MCOCA, in addition to regular Sessions Court and District Court duties. Justice Bhatnagar is also a trained judicial mediator.

Justice Bhatnagar's career reached a significant milestone on February 21, 2025, when she was elevated as a permanent Judge of the High Court of Delhi, marking the culmination of her distinguished service in the judiciary.
