Justice Krishna Murari, a distinguished jurist in the Indian legal landscape, was born on July 9, 1958. He earned his LL.B degree from Allahabad University, Allahabad, and was enrolled as an Advocate on December 23, 1981.
He practiced at the Allahabad High Court for over 22 years, specializing in Civil, Constitutional, Company, Service, and Revenue matters. He served as Standing Counsel for various organizations, including U.P. State Yarn Company Limited, Kanpur, and Bundelkhand University, Jhansi.
Justice Murari was appointed as an Additional Judge of the Allahabad High Court on January 7, 2004, and became a permanent Judge on August 18, 2005. He assumed the role of Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh, on June 2, 2018.
Elevated as Judge of the Supreme Court of India on September 23, 2019.
