Early Life and Education

Born on February 18, 1974, Justice Shankar completed his schooling from Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, Delhi, and Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan, Kodaikanal. He graduated from St. Joseph’s College of Arts & Science, Bangalore, with a B.A. in Economics, Political Science, and Sociology. In 1998, he completed his LL.B from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi.

Justice Shankar was associated with the chambers of eminent legal figures such as Mr. K. K. Venugopal, Mr. P.H. Parekh, and Mr. Soli J. Sorabjee. He briefly worked at Udwadia, Udeshi & Berjis in Bombay before earning his LL.M. in International Economic Law from the University of Warwick.
